Coaching Biographies

Sara is Xplosion VBC's head Club Director and Managing Partner. She will be returning to Xplosion for her ninth season to coach. Sara played varsity volleyball at Springboro High School and graduated in 2011. While in high school, Sara played club ball at Kaepa Borderline, Western Buckeye, and Air City Chicks. She went on to play volleyball in college at the University of Mobile in Alabama (Division I NAIA).  Her experience coaching younger ages includes Panther Youth Volleyball (PYV) and the University of Mobile's sponsored training teams for multiple age groups. Sara was also the Freshman coach at Lakota East for the 2017 season. 

Betsy is Xplosion VBC's Assistant Director and Managing Partner. She has 13 years of experience as a Head Coach with Xplosion Volleyball and Western Buckeye. She has High School coaching experience as the former Junior Varsity coach at Wilmington High School. Betsy played volleyball in college at Wilmington College and can share that experience with her players. Betsy is IMPACT certified through USA Volleyball. 

Jerrica is Xplosion VBC's Managing Partner and Financial Admin. She has coached with Xplosion in previous years for 4 seasons. In addition to Xplosion, she has coached with Western Buckeye and Matchpoint VBC for a combined 10 years. She is currently in her third season as Varsity volleyball coach at Fairfield Local and is running Fairfield Youth Volleyball League.  Jerrica is IMPACT certified through USA Volleyball. 

Coach Erica has returned (formerly Davis) for her 7th season with Xplosion.  Erica has high school coaching experience as the junior varsity coach at Clinton Massie High School.  She also has 3 years club coaching experience with Western Buckeye. Erica graduated from Wilmington College in 2009 where she played volleyball.  Erica is IMPACT certified though USA Volleyball. 

 Coach Victoria is returning for her second season coaching for Xplosion!  Victoria has been coaching club since 2008. She has high school coaching experience with Peebles. Victoria runs volleyball camps for local teams and still plays competitive sand and indoor volleyball.  Victoria is IMPACT certified through USA Volleyball. 

Coach Bry is new to the Xplosion family. This is her first season. Bry is in her fourth year of coaching at Wilmington Christian Academy.  In the daytime, Bry is a full time hairstylist and works with her local youth group with her church. Bry is IMPACT certified through USA Volleyball.
